The challenge
Current skills training in Vietnam adheres to local standards but Black Cat recognised a huge opportunity to bring skills and competencies in line with the highest UK standards. As well as upskilling and improving the competencies of its own employees, Black Cat wanted to establish a new training centre of excellence for the Indochina region where people could be trained to internationally-recognised standards.

The state-of-the-art centre, which is accredited by global scaffolding body CISRS, offers a raft of internationally-recognised scaffolding and insulation courses and uses cutting-edge technology to streamline internal operations and manage delegates’ training. Since opening in October 2017, the centre has proved overwhelming successful attracting hundreds of delegates from across Indochina.
